The Free Houdini
The Free Houdini (styled theFREEhoudini) is the third album of original material from Oakland-based rap duo Themselves and a return after a six-year hiatus that saw the members spend the majority of their time on their other band Subtle[1]. The album was made available for 90 days as a one track mp3 for download from the anticon website, later released on 25 March 2009 in a deluxe CD package.
On a sampler of tracks from the album that was available for download from Pitchfork, you can hear that the cLOUDDEAD song Rapping4Money is built from a sample of the Shel Silverstein song "Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout (Would Not Take The Garbage Out.)"
